This First Lite sizing review will help you understand how to get the best fit with First Lite’s technical hunting apparel. In this quick guide, we’ll take a look at First Lite’s range of sizes and review just how well they fit.
When it comes to buying hunting clothes, the last thing you want is to wear something loose and baggy that can catch on nearby branches and create unnecessary noise. Instead, by wearing close-fitting base layers and form-fitting apparel, you’ll be able to stay warm and dry throughout the hunt.
First Lite’s full range of hunting gear conforms to your body shape without being overly tight. Their clothing sizes are based on exact body measurements and are available in men’s, women’s, and kids’ sizes. The company’s sizing chart includes chest, waist, hips, inseam, and height measurements so you can find the perfect fit for your body.
First Lite’s Range of Sizes
First Lite’s clothing sizes are based on exact body measurements and are available in both men’s and women’s sizes. The company’s sizing chart includes sleeve, chest, waist, hips, and inseam measurements, as well as an option for taller individuals. Here are some of the key points from the First Lite size chart:
- First Lite’s men’s sizes range from S to 3XL, fitting chest sizes from 36 to 56 inches and waist sizes from 30 to 50 inches.
- Women’s sizes range from XS to XL, fitting bust sizes from 32 to 42 inches and waist sizes from 24 to 34 inches.
- Base layers are available in unisex sizes XS-3XL
Generally speaking, First Lite’s sizing is true to form, meaning that if you normally wear a size large shirt, you will most likely be a size large with First Lite. We would recommend ordering your normal size unless you are in between sizes or on the border of the next size up or down. In that case, we would recommend ordering the larger size.
Do First Lite Clothes Fit Well?
In our opinion, all of First Lite’s clothing fits well. Their base layers are snug but not too tight, their straight-legged trousers provide ample room for movement without being baggy, and their form-fitting jackets allow you to layer underneath without being too bulky.
Overall, we think First Lite’s sizing is spot-on, and their clothing fits well. I wrote my honest review of First Lite’s technical hunting apparel after my 2019 public land archery elk hunt. If you are looking for hunting clothes that fit well, and have great wicking features with varying levels of warmth, then we recommend checking out First Lite’s full range of hunting gear.
