How to make elk unstuffed peppers
- Heat the olive oil in a large, deep skillet over medium heat. Add in diced onion and pepper. Sauté for a few minutes until softened. Then, add in the ground elk and cook thoroughly.
- Next, add in the diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, chicken broth, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil and then reduce to low and simmer. Cover with lid and simmer for approximately 20 minutes.
