These venison meatball subs are perfect for game day, tailgating, or just an easy weeknight dinner.

Brioche buns loaded with savory venison meatballs and topped with melted mozzarella cheese - another easy ground venison recipe!

Ingredients

- G-deer meat) - Ground Italian sausage or ground pork - Grated Parmesan cheese - Large egg - Italian seasoning - Salt - Italian bread crumbs - White onion - Minced garlic - Marinara - Hot dog or hoagie buns - Shredded mozzarella cheese

INSTRUCTIONS

In a large bowl, add the meatball ingredients - ground venison, sausage, Parmesan cheese, egg, Italian seasoning, salt, bread crumbs, onion, and minced garlic, and mix to combine.

Roll the meat mixture round meatballs and place onto a baking sheet. Continue until all meatballs are formed.

While the meatballs are baking, pour the marinara into a small saucepan and warm over medium-low heat.Remove the meatballs when done.

Place the hot dog buns on a baking sheet. Fill the buns with the baked meatballs. Then, cover the meatballs with marinara sauce. Top with shredded mozzarella cheese.

Place the baking sheet with the subs into the oven and bake until the cheese is melted. Remove from oven and serve immediately.
