Venison Quesadillas

Love the taste of venison but looking for something a little different?  Then you must try these mouth-watering venison quesadillas!  Packed full of savory flavor, it’s the perfect comfort food for any hungry hunter.

•  Olive oil •  Yellow onion •  Poblano pepper •  Ground venison •  Salt •  Lime - zest and juice •  Sour cream •  Taco seasoning •  Cumin


Add 1 Tbsp. olive oil to a skillet and heat over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and Poblano pepper and cook until softened.

Step 1

Add the ground venison, salt, and pepper to the skillet and cook thoroughly.


While the venison is cooking, prepare the lime crema. Add the sour cream to a small bowl. Zest and juice ½ lime and add to the sour cream mixture.

Step 3

Once the venison is browned, add the taco seasoning, cumin, tomato paste, minced garlic, water, and lime juice and stir to combine.
