Traeger Carne Asada

Get ready for a delicious taste of Mexico with this Traeger Carne Asada recipe! Grilling over a wood pellet fire gives the beef a smoky and savory flavor that perfectly complements the citrus and spice marinade.

•  Olive oil •  Garlic •  Cumin •  Salt •  Pepper •  Chili powder •  Lime juice •  Chopped cilantro •  Flank or skirt steak


Add the olive oil, garlic, cumin, salt, pepper, chili powder, lime juice, and chopped cilantro to a mixing bowl and whisk to combine.

Step 1

Transfer to a marinating bag (or zip lock bag) and add the flank steak. Massage the marinade into the steak and refrigerate for 30-60 minutes.


Preheat the Traeger to 250 degrees F.

Step 3

Remove the flank steak from the marinade and place it onto the grill. Slow cook for 45 minutes on a high smoke setting.
