It’s made with a delicious elk tri-tip sirloin roast and simplified ingredients, making it the perfect elevated wild game recipe to add to your weekly menu.

Korean Bulgogi is a dish made with thinly sliced beef, typically a ribeye, sirloin, or brisket cut, that’s marinated in a salty & sweet marinade, then grilled or seared in a skillet.

Ingredients

– The Honest Bison Elk Tri-Tip Roast – Soy sauce – Brown sugar – Chili garlic sauce (see substitutions below) – 2 Tbsp. chili garlic sauce (see substitutions below) – Rice vinegar

1. In a bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, chili garlic sauce, rice vinegar, minced garlic, and ground ginger.

HOW TO MAKE KOREAN ELK BULGOGI  

2. Cutaway any silver skin or large fat deposits on the elk tri-tip. Then, thinly slice the entire tri-tip.

3. Place the sliced tri-tip into the bowl with the marinade and place it into the refrigerator to marinate for at least 3 hours.

4. When ready to cook, remove the marinated meat from the refrigerator. Heat a large skillet over medium heat.

5. Serve immediately over rice or noodles and top with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
