Ingredients Needed
- 1 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1 lb. ground venison
- 1 ½ cups Hawaiian BBQ sauce
- 12 Hawaiian roll sliders
- ½ cup finely chopped pineapple
- 1 cup pickled jalapeño slices (regular jalapeños will work, too)
- 1 cup shredded pepper jack cheese
- 1 Tbsp. melted butter
How to Make Hawaiian Venison Sliders
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, heat the olive oil. Add the ground venison and cook thoroughly. Add in the BBQ sauce and stir to combine. Simmer for 2-3 minutes then remove from heat and set aside.
- Spray the bottom of a 9×13 baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
- Arrange the bottom half of the rolls into the baking dish and spoon the ground venison mixture onto each roll.
- Top with pineapple and jalapeño slices. Sprinkle with shredded cheese then place the top half of the rolls on top of the cheese.
- Brush the top of the rolls with the melted butter. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 20 minutes.
- Remove foil and bake an additional 5-6 minutes, or until the tops are browned.
- Serve immediately.
